Hi!

I’m a would-be writer and very amateur photographer, prone to occasional quixotic impulses. I travel when I can, but when I can’t I walk around a lot and take pictures of things and make trivial remarks to amuse myself and my dog (who admittedly sets a pretty low bar for humor).

I’ve got an unfortunate fondness for puns and odd, non-sequiturial jokes that verge on the surreal. I own a lot of brown and green shirts. I eat things I shouldn’t, and possibly drink more than I should. I don’t own as many interesting hats as I would like. I still cheer for the Red Sox even though I’m stationed deep in ‘enemy territory’, and even though they’re clearly no longer anybody’s underdog – but I’ve also acquired a soft spot for the Mets (shhhh!) and hey, 1986 was a long time ago. I love used books, foreign grocery stores, berries, mountains and coffee. I can’t abide hot days, Crocs or mayonnaise. And I’ve got a real bone to pick with the MTA.
